Our clinical and regulatory expertise, combined with a smaller, nimbler structure, allows for effective and quick decision-making, enabling your product to get to market faster. In exchange, Furiex shares the potential rewards by receiving milestone payments and royalties based on the continued development and commercialization success of the drug. Our approach realizes value for partners’ shareholders from more compound candidates, new and potentially cheaper source of capital than traditional venture capital funding and greater alignment of R&D productivity.
Flexible Deal Structures
We are flexible about negotiating a mutually beneficial deal structure with each partner based on core competencies, the unique needs of the compound, and the development risk and level of funding required to advance it quickly and successfully to the next stage. Once the development goals are met, we deliver your asset back to you to further develop and fund it, or we can find a collaborator to drive the program forward.
